SECICAR, one of the divisions of Hafesa Group which provides reception, storage, additivation and distribution services for petroleum products, have changed their name to DBA Motril Port. With this change, Hafesa Group reinforce their position as the benchmark in providing nationwide logistics services, through their facilities in the north, central area and south of the peninsula.
This change of name represents the ultimate integration of SECICAR into the DBA Terminals brand – a division of Hafesa Group – which already has two other facilities to date: the recently renovated DBA Bilbao Port and DBA Ocaña, situated in central Spain and acquired by the company at the end of 2021.
The transformation has been carried out progressively in the corporate names, internet domain and for the brands. What’s more, the new name already appears on all the logos, visuals and branding elements in the hydrocarbon storage facilities that the company owns in the port of Motril.
With this renovation of the Motril port terminal and through the storage and distribution of biofuels they continue to promote new sources of energy that reduce emissions. DBA Terminals is committed to a future that is driven by low emissions and energy efficiency.
In the words of Diego Guardamino, CEO of Hafesa Group, “This change of name represents another milestone on the path we are taking to reinforce our main assets: the hydrocarbon storage terminals, by integrating the Motril port terminal, a highly strategic and operational asset, in the DBA Terminals brand.”
